Service Level Agreements

A Comprehensive Income and Activity Monitoring Solution

Getting an accurate picture of your trust’s income based on activity is vital but it can be a complicated task. Contracts between you and commissioners are rarely simple, with tariffs for the healthcare you deliver varying not only from one specialty to another but also with the volume of activity. In addition to this you have the challenge of marrying your contract information held in one data source with your activity information held in another.

Ardentia’s new Service Level Agreement module makes the task of monitoring your activity and income much simpler. It does this by giving you a single information service covering both contracts and activity that, once the relationships between the contracts and data have been defined, reports on actual activity and income.

Service Level Agreements: Powerful, Flexible and Easy to Use

Uploading details of your contracts to the SLA data warehouse is a straightforward process. Easy-to-use data capture forms enable you to define whether a payment tariff is National PbR or non-PbR. You can also specify units of measurement, SLA currencies, service lines and service level agreements.

Once your contracts have been defined, user friendly screens guide you through the process of defining the rules that link your contracts to the activity data.

Defining planned activity is even easier to do thanks to the SLA application’s plan upload functionality that enables you to import your planned activity data directly from a spreadsheet.

These features make Ardentia’s SLA module a powerful and flexible solution while leaving it easy to use. And because our Service Level Agreement module is built on Ardentia’s proven HealthWare data warehousing technology, you have access to its powerful built-in data validation and transformation capabilities to give you complete confidence in the quality of your data.

Income and Activity Reporting on Actual Data

Thanks to its flexibility - the ability to define contracts for both National PbR and non-PbR tariffs and to set activity thresholds - the standard set of reports supplied with our Service Level Agreements solution enables you to view your income and activity based on actual data.

Ardentia’s SLA reporting includes:

  • Analysis of PbR trends.
  • results by speciality, diagnosis, HRG and much more.
  • actual activity against plan highlighting any variances there may be.
  • exception reporting.
  • drill through to base information at patient level so you can always track any anomaly back to its source, within the patient record itself.
  • web-based reporting so that any authorised staff can accept information wherever they are, whenever they need it.

The Service Level Agreements module from Ardentia puts the income information that you and your team needs right at your fingertips.
