Patient Activity Reporting
Ardentia’s Patient Activity Reporting solution fulfils a core set of reporting requirements for your organisation.
It enables you to monitor patient activity across:
- Admitted Patient Care.
- Outpatient Attendances.
- Outpatient Referrals.
- Accident and Emergency Attendances.
These modules provide a platform for Payment by Results and Patient Level Costing enabling your staff to investigate patient activity in greater detail in order better to understand both costs and payments.
Admitted Patient Care
The Admitted Patient Care application module enables you to analyse monthly activity for Admitted Patient Care in terms of treatment function, main procedure (OPCS4), principal diagnosis (ICD10) and HRG.
It gives you a more detailed view of activity for each GP Practice than is available with analyses against plans in Service Level Agreements.
Outpatient Attendances
The Outpatient Attendances application module enables you to analyse monthly activity for Outpatient Attendances, DNAs, Hospital Cancellations and Patient Cancellations.
Analyses are presented in terms of treatment function, consultant, first and subsequent attendance, provider, GP practice.
This gives you a more detailed view of activity for each GP Practice than is available with analyses against plans in service level agreements.
Subsidiary analyses (see below) show:
- How long patients have waited from referral to their first attendance.
- Attendance rates per 1000 patients (dependent upon implementation of practice population module).
Outpatient Referrals
Ardentia’s Outpatient Referrals module can help your organisation (especially is you are an Acute or Primary Care Trust) to monitor the number and type of referrals received.
It uses a time-frame based upon the referral date whereas other outpatient modules have analyses based upon attendance date.
Accident and Emergency
Our Accident and Emergency module enables you to analyse Accident and Emergency attendances and trends. The reports supplied to you with the module display attendance information for age profiles (in quinary and single age bands), referral sources, waiting time, and type of attendance.
