Ardentia - Focused Healthcare Solutions

Ardentia's Technology

Each of Ardentia’s world class business intelligence solutions is underpinned by Ardentia’s world class technology. With 17 years experience in providing data warehousing and information reporting to the healthcare sector our technologies have a proven track record of success.

The key features of our technologies are their ease-of-use and powerful functionality, their ability to be customised and personalised, and their ability to scale yet remain robust.

All of Ardentia’s solutions are based upon our two products:

  • HealthWare Warehouse Manager.
  • Cassius Reporting Suite.

HealthWare Warehouse Manager

HealthWare Warehouse Manager is a powerful Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) and data management tool for loading data from multiple sources into a common data warehouse.

HealthWare Warehouse Manager provides you with a data validation, cleansing, data derivation, quality reporting and publishing facilities that enable you to control what data is made available for reporting within your organisation and also ensures the reliability and accuracy of the data.

Using Ardentia’s HealthWare Warehouse Manager enables you to define and customise rule–based update and validation routines that automatically run when a record or batch of records is loaded into your data warehouse. This helps you to ensure your data maintains the highest levels of accuracy and consistency.

All data validation and update routines – or quality checks – are carried out in a “staging database”. Data is only transferred to your production database after it has been through the quality cycle. The same quality routine is carried out whatever the source of the data, whether it is from single or combined data sources derived from within the data warehouse, OLAP cubes or through third party products such as a post coder.

A ‘point and click’ transformation mapping tool enables your data warehouse designers or advanced users to easily acquire new data sources and define the necessary mapping and formatting routines to load the data into your data warehouse. Ardentia’s HealthWare Warehouse Manager also provides data quality reports and ‘store and forward’ facilities to help with gathering and transmitting data from your Operational and Batch systems into your data warehouse.

Ardentia’s Cassius Reporting Suite

The Cassius Reporting Suite is Ardentia’s Web-based reporting tool. It enables you to quickly and easily deploy, our solutions in a secure, customisable and scalable interface.

The Cassius Reporting Suite is made up of a number of independent components that enable you to tailor the reporting suite to give you the exact functionality that you need.

Cassius Reporting Suite components:

NetPortal

Cassius NetPortal is a fully customisable, thin–client web portal. Single sign–on to Cassius NetPortal enables users to launch multiple solutions in a secure environment, without the need to log in multiple times. Once the user has logged in to Cassius NetPortal all of the applications and reports to which they have access are automatically made available to them.

NetQuery

Cassius NetQuery is a thin–client relational reporting tool that delivers tabular and graphical reporting in a dynamic browser-based environment. It enables analysts to select from a pre-configured set of metadata for simple query creation or to manually define complex SQL-based queries for use as the basis of their reports.

Reports created in Cassius NetQuery can be integrated with Ardentia´s Cassius NetInform reports to produce composite reports that query both relational and OLAP data sources.

NetInform

Cassius NetInform is a powerful OLAP-based reporting tool that provides analysts and information specialists with a mechanism for creating and publishing complex multidimensional reports in a secure, highly scalable, Web-based environment.

Cassius NetInform offers dynamic data cube browsing, enabling users to interact with your data by selecting different context settings and drill down hierarchies to quickly and easily access the information that is important to them.

NetMetrics

Cassius NetMetrics is a thin–client performance management and action–planning tool that enables organisations to define hierarchical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and to monitor performance against those KPIs using Ardentia´s reporting products.

Cassius NetMetrics uses traffic lighting and alerting to provide a dynamic KPI tracking and action assignment tool. This means that performance thresholds can be set locally, enabling local or regional managers, for example, to set personalised KPIs for specific areas or even for individuals, without having to involve administrators. Alerts ensure that mission critical data is quickly brought to the attention of the relevant users.

NetPublish

Cassius NetPublish is a server-based scheduling process that is configured and monitored by a thin-client interface. It enables you to construct batches of Cassius reports and then schedule those batches to run either once, or to run continuously at pre-defined intervals.

The batch configuration process enables the developer to define the groups of users to whom the reports contained within the batch will be made available when they are published. This creates a highly targeted ‘publish and subscribe’ environment that enables your organisation to intelligently share reports across potentially tens of thousands of users.

NetAlert

Cassius NetAlert is a thin–client ‘traffic lighting’ and exception reporting utility. It provides you with the ability to highlight values in Cassius reports based on comparisons with user-defined data thresholds and to distribute those reports according to whether or not they contain exceptions.

NetForms

Cassius NetForms is an innovative, thin–client, dynamic form generator that supports the delivery and capture of form-based data.

It enables you to develop sophisticated business intelligence application interfaces extremely rapidly, all from within Ardentia´s familiar browser–based Cassius development environment.

Forms are created using simple to use ‘drag and drop’ technology, where controls selected from a palette can be dragged onto a form template and dropped into position. Once a control has been added to a form it can be repositioned and resized as required.
